How We Work
What it is like to work with thecbo.com.
No mystery. No waiting. No results sitting in silence. Every deliverable ships before its promised date. Every win is made explicit. Every system we build runs without us after Week 6.
Before Week 1
What happens the moment you book?
Within 24 hours of your call, three things land in your inbox.
Your Week 1 through 6 schedule. Every session, every deliverable, every deadline named.
Your Brand Scorecard baseline. We run your first audit before Week 1 begins so you see your exact score before we touch anything.
The submission protocol template your team will use starting Day 1.
Buyer's remorse kills more consulting engagements than bad delivery. We eliminate it by making the first 24 hours the most structured part of the engagement.
During the 6 Weeks
What do we actually deliver, and when?
Every deliverable ships before its promised date. We take ownership of decisions, flag violations with specific law citations, and reduce what your brain has to carry.
Week 1
The Diagnosis
Deliverable: Brand Compliance Audit Report
We score every customer-facing asset against the 13 Visual Laws and return a 100-point forensic score with a law-by-law violation log. Every failing asset is flagged with the specific law, the specific violation, and the specific fix. No general recommendations. No subjective language. You receive this before Week 2 begins.
The creative brief where you wrote "make it feel more premium." That language is now retired.
Week 2
The Binary Gate
Deliverable: Brand Enforcement Standard Document + Submission Protocol Integration
The Binary Gate is a 47-point pass/fail checklist, calibrated to your brand, your sub-niche, and your specific Visual Law violations from Week 1. Every criterion is binary. Every rejection includes the law citation. No gray areas, no interpretation required. It is formatted for direct attachment to your agency brief and embedded in your submission protocol. Agencies submit against it. Work either passes or gets returned with a citation. You are not consulted.
Four rounds of revisions. The call where you try to explain what on-brand means. The 11pm approval request.
Week 3
The Technician Playbook
Deliverable: Team Execution Manual + Calibration Session
The Playbook translates every Law into a specific, observable, checkable action your team can perform without you. It is written for your Creative Director, not for a consultant. No jargon. No abstractions. Week 3 includes a live 90-minute Scorecard Calibration Session where your Creative Director scores 10 real assets against the Binary Gate while we observe. They pass when they score within 5 points of our score, unassisted. We repeat the session if they do not.
The creative meeting where the CD gets it and the team ships off-brand work two days later.
Week 4
First Independent Gate
Deliverable: First Self-Certified Compliance Report
Your team runs the Binary Gate without us in the room. We review their scores, flag any law misapplications, and return a calibration note within 24 hours. The first time a brand runs the gate independently and scores correctly is the moment the system is no longer dependent on us. Most teams hit this in Week 4. Some hit it in Week 3. We have never had a team that could not self-certify by Week 5.
You as the final approver on every asset.
Week 5
The Scorecard Goes Live
Deliverable: Visual Law Compliance Scorecard + Reporting Cadence
The Scorecard tracks your compliance score week over week across every asset category: PDPs, campaigns, organic content, paid creative, packaging, retail materials. It is formatted for a Monday morning review that takes 8 minutes. Every Monday from Week 5 forward, you see a number. If it moved, you see why. If a law regressed, you see which assets failed and what the fix is. You are reviewing a score, not individual creative.
The 3-hour creative review. The gut feeling. The "I think this looks off but I cannot articulate why" conversation.
Week 6
Handoff
Deliverable: Final Compliance Audit + Complete System Handoff Package
We run a final audit against the 13 Visual Laws on a full cross-channel asset set. Score 80 or above: Binary Gate installed, team certified, Scorecard running, engagement complete. Score below 80 and your investment is returned in full. No forms. No negotiation.
Your employment contract as the person who holds the brand standard in their head.
Every Week
How do you know it is working?
You never have to ask.
Every Monday morning you receive your compliance score, which laws moved and why, and which assets passed or failed with the exact law citation for every failure. You do not receive a call request. You do not receive a check-in asking what you want to prioritize. You receive a number and a fix list.
The number
Your current Visual Law compliance score out of 100. It either went up or down from last week. If it went up, you see why. If it dropped, you see exactly which law regressed and which assets caused it.
The win log
If Law 6 compliance moved from 2 of 8 SKUs to 7 of 8 this week, we tell you that explicitly. We do not leave it to you to notice. Every result is surfaced and named.
The fix list
Every failing asset is returned with a specific law citation and a specific corrective action. Not a mood board. Not a direction. A binary instruction: this asset fails Law 3 for this reason, here is what changes.
Most consultants do decent work quietly. The client loses track of the value and eventually stops seeing the ROI. We make every win visible so you always know exactly what changed and why it matters to your business.
At Handoff
What do you own after it is done?
Everything. We own nothing.
Brand Enforcement Standard
Binary Gate documented, installed in your submission protocol, calibrated to your sub-niche.
Technician Playbook
Your team knows how to run the gate. Your Creative Director can self-certify without you in the room.
Compliance Scorecard
6 weeks of scoring history, yours to continue running every Monday.
Week 1 Baseline Audit
Your forensic before-state. Proof of the gap we closed and documentation of the Laws you now pass.
The system runs without us. Your Creative Director runs the gate. Your team self-certifies. You review the weekly score instead of every asset. That is the point.
Ready to install the system?
The 6-Week Brand Challenge is the proof-of-concept entry point. Score 80 or above on Visual Law compliance by Week 6. The system is installed and your team runs it. Score below 80 and your investment is returned.
